Technical skills are not enough. The industry needs engineers who understand the people side of the business—hiring, training, performance—and who have stepped out of the classroom and into the mud, the boardroom, and the expo floor.

The Solution: Introducing the ILP

A Structured Path for Future Leaders

The Industry Leadership Partnership (ILP) is a collaborative effort with Purdue University, administered by BAMI-I.

Unlike ad-hoc fundraising, the ILP is a structured, ongoing framework designed to connect the brightest students from Purdue’s NASTT (North American Society for Trenchless Technology) and UCA (Underground Construction Association) chapters directly with industry leaders.

Our Goal: To graduate construction engineers who are productive immediately and committed to long-term careers in underground infrastructure.
