What You Will Learn
The 30th ASCE UESI/BAMI-I Utility Investigation School (UIS) is a four-day program for professionals responsible for planning, managing, designing, or delivering infrastructure projects involving existing underground utilities. The course combines classroom instruction with practical, field-oriented learning to help participants identify utility risks, apply current standards, and make better project decisions.

- ASCE 38-22: Utility Investigation and Documentation Standard
- ASCE 75-22: Utility As-Building and Utility Record Drawing Standard
- Subsurface Utility Engineering for Municipalities: scope of work and pre-qualification criteria
- Utility risk management for project owners, designers, and constructors
- Utility investigation and detection tools, including electromagnetic locating, ground penetrating radar, magnetometers, time-domain electromagnetics, and elastic-wave methods
